Jennifer Lopez of course loves kissing boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, but an article claiming she goes “wild” for his “passionate kisses” is fake news. The story was made up to capitalize on the couple’s relationship.
The manufactured report, which features the ridiculous headline “J.Lo ‘Wild’ Over A-Rod’s ‘Passionate’ Kisses — Their Make Outs Are ‘Next Level,’” comes from HollywoodLife. The webloid, which is known for fabricating “exclusives,” claims the couple’s “make outs are outta’ this world,” and the site purports it “EXCLUSIVELY learned that the singer is ‘wild’ for her man’s passionate kisses.” After touting Rodriguez’s positive qualities, the outlet asserts, “But the thing Jen adores most about him is his make out skills.”
That’s right. HollywoodLies wants readers to believe Lopez’s favorite thing about Rodriguez is not that he’s a dedicated father or successful athlete and entrepreneur, but that he’s a good kisser. “She loves his kissing ability,” a so-called “source” is quoted is saying. “Alex is a very passionate man — it turns her on and make her go wild. Jen seriously thinks his kissing ability is next level.” The publication goes on to ask readers, “What are your thoughts on Jen and Alex’s passionate make out sessions — TMI or too cute?”
Well, it is too much information for someone supposedly close to Lopez to be talking about what “turns her on.” And Gossip Cop is told no one did, nor would anyone ever. We’d call it mind-boggling that the webloid thinks anyone would seriously believe it has a “source” discussing Lopez’s “make outs” with Rodriguez and her love of his “passionate kisses,” but we’re actually not surprised by this tale. That’s because it’s part of a pattern.
Earlier this month, the site ran a story about Kardashian and West having the “best sex of their lives.” In recent weeks, there’s also been articles from HollywoodLies about the alleged bedroom activities of Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, and Kylie Jenner and Tyga, among others. In every case, just like now, the webloid pretended to have a “source” or “insider” dishing on the couple’s intimate moments. Who would really do that? And who would tell HollywoodLies of all places?
On the one hand, it’s so ridiculous that it’s laughable. On the other, though, there’s nothing funny about making up stories and publishing fake news. It’s not journalism. It’s a disservice to readers and unfair to the stars themselves. Lopez and Rodriguez may have no problem showing PDA, but Gossip Cop is assured no one is talking about their “make outs” with HollywoodLies, the same outlet that wrongly speculated Lopez and Rodriguez were engaged in March, and then falsely claimed Lopez’s friends were “worried” about her dating him. The bogus publication simply has no authentic insight whatsoever and only writes such stories to score traffic.
